The WEFE Program aims to advance scientific and applied research in the fields of water, energy, food, and ecosystems, while strengthening partnerships with local communities and national and international institutions to support sustainable development and enhance resilience to climate-related challenges.
The program adopts a participatory approach and close collaboration with local community institutions and regional and international organizations to develop a comprehensive communication strategy. This strategy contributes to establishing developmental research programs and practical projects that promote sustainable development and strengthen water and food security for rural communities in the Jordanian Badia.

Establishment of a training center for soilless agriculture, integrated with a rainwater harvesting system from building rooftops and landscape gardening - Al-Safawi Station.
The project is divided into three main components:
- Soilless demonstration site and Innovation center-Safawi.
- Rainwater harvesting from building rooftops.
- Landscape design and garden establishment.
