Local Agenda21 in the Territorial Planning in Energy and Waste Management
The project was funded by the European Union under the ENPI CBC Mediterranean Sea Basin Programme.
Local Agenda 21 is a local-government-led, community-wide and participatory effort to establish a comprehensive action strategy for environmental protection, economic prosperity and community well-being in the local area, taking into account features, needs and priorities of a specific territory.
The objectives of the project are :
1- To share experiences between Local Authorities (LAs) involved in the -partnership in order to facilitate territorial planning and monitoring in the energy and waste management sector.
2-To enable business opportunities between LAs and Private sectors with the scope to reinforce relations between MPCs and EU partners.
